The following is the April 25th letter Mrs. Lodal sent to Fairfax County Public Schools Superintendent Jack Dale.
Dear Dr. Dale,
This morning I announced my retirement on July 31, 2006, to the TJHSST staff and to the PTSA leadership. Please feel free to share this news with whomever you wish and to immediately advertise the position of Principal of TJHSST. It has been a pleasure to serve this wonderful school, its students, teachers, and parents for the last six years as Principal. My best wishes to FCPS as you find outstanding new leadership for this very special school. I will continue to support TJ and FCPS in my new position as a Virginia Delegate on The Education Commission of the States.
