Directory Upgrades

Thanks to the hard work of Abir Ray '96 and many others at Expression Networks, long overdue upgrades to our alumni directory have begun. The most important and most requested change has involved securing our information behind a password and authenticating that those with accounts are indeed members of the Jefferson community. Though no system is perfect, this should help to minimize the possibility of any data mining from our database in the future.

Several other features have been restored or rehabilitated. Members may now also change their username as well as their password and may once again search the most recently updated entries. These upgrades conclude our first phase of changes, and though we have more plans of our own, please send an email to directory@tjhsstalumni.org if you have suggestions for further development.

No system is ever perfect, of course, and we have encountered a few glitches already. In one instance in which the database dropped my personal entry claiming I was not an alum, so I know how it feels when upgrades seem anything but. If you do run in to problems please send an email to directory@tjhsstalumni.org, and know that we appreciate your patience and understanding.
