  • The Leadership Team of the school has expanded beyond the Administrators and Division Managers to include more Faculty and Student representation.

  • As faculty members retire, the new teachers include seasoned, successful veterans, and outstanding young educators all of whom are experts in their fields and have Masters or Doctoral degrees. The Guidance Department has documented substantially fewer students seeking to change teachers due to the departure of some of the weaker ones and the hiring of people whom the students respect and want as teachers.

  • The faculty and staff have been involved in a two-year, self-evaluation project for accreditation. This has reinvigorated our commitment to our mission and beliefs and resulted in a variety of initiatives including Student Technology Portfolios, infusing Research Skills into every area, focus on Intellectual Risk Taking, and Creative Problem Solving throughout the curriculum to name a few.
Mrs. Lodal was evaluated by her Cluster Director during 2003. He conducted a survey of the faculty and parents. She received the highest scores from both groups who expressed great confidence in and appreciation for her leadership.
