Board of Directors
| A
graduate of the
University of Virginia with degrees in Management
Information Systems and International Business, Dan takes great
pride in his roots as a TJ grad and on occasion can still be
heard singing the fight song at various gatherings. After
college, Dan moved to San Francisco for four years and met is
wife, Sydney. They soon returned to the DC area where Dan
currently works as Director of Marketing for
Nimaya, a local software company. They reside in Reston and
spend their spare time traveling, entertaining and jamming to
their iPods. |

Jay Briar ‘94
Past President
E-mail Jay |
A
graduate of the
Vassar College with a degree in history, Jay was a radio
reporter in upstate New York before returning to the DC area, now
teaching at
Sheridan School in Northwest because what else, ultimately, can
you do with a history degree? In 2005, he completed a masters in
Educational Leadership at
George Washington University. He served two terms as Association
President and now lives in Bethesda with his partner, Alvin, and
their dog, Hershey. |

Suzzette graduated from the
University of Virginia with a
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a Master’s Degree in
Education. After graduation, she returned to
Fairfax County
Public Schools where she taught fifth and sixth grade math
and science for a couple of years until the teacher wanted to,
once again, become a student. Suzzette then received her law
degree from
George Mason University School of Law and is and is now
practicing law at
Wiley Rein in DC. She lives in
Arlington where you’re likely to bump into her running or
cycling on the trails. |

Nikhil Sinha '01
Secretary
E-mail Nikhil |
Nikhil graduated from
Carnegie Mellon University in 2005, with
majors in
Information Systems and Political Science, and a minor
in Business Administration. Disappointed that people didn't
throw their caps in the air like they do at TJ, Nikhil returned
to CMU for another year and another try. He graduated in 2006 with a
Master's degree in
Public Policy and Management, but cap still
firmly in hand. Nikhil now lives in Fairfax, and works for the
consulting firm
Booz Allen Hamilton. As the lone alum
from the current millennium on the board, Nikhil likes to
relieve the stress by watching
Capitals hockey games and
participating daily in rush hour commutes. |
Rachana completed the little-known AP Super-involved course at Jefferson , having served as class president all four years. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in psychology and a concentration in statistics. She currently works as a management consultant for Accenture, a global consulting and technology firm. Rachana lives in Chicago and on weekends, enjoys taking in the windy city’s day and nightlife. She travels a lot, but on Sunday afternoons she is always close to a television to watch football, even if that TV is in an airport or hotel room. |

Member-at-Large
E-mail Todd |
A graduate of
Princeton University
with a degree in Civil Engineering and Operations Research, Todd
worked for three years as a management consultant in the DC area
and two years as a private equity investor in New York City.
Recently Todd returned home to start his own mortgage brokerage
business,
Foundation Trust Mortgage.
He now lives in Arlington, and when not purchasing new albums to
expand his music collection he tries to get out to the golf
course in the hopes of one day improving his handicap. |

Steven was one of the band geeks at Jefferson, having participated all four years in marching and concert bands. He also was a mentorship student out of the CAD Lab. He headed to Virginia Tech to pursue Engineering and continued the mentorship/COOP thing. He moved back to the DC area to start work as a DOD contractor with SAIC, and also Northrop Grumman. He recently shifted to Civil Service for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. He enjoys football. He can be seen traveling the roads in the fall as a season ticket holder to Virginia Tech Football. |
